Lake Erie Shores

Web Design & Development

In short
The Motorcoach Resort Lake Erie Shores needed a website equal to the quality of its Ohio lakeside destination. Serving visiting guests and prospective lot owners, it had to present rental choices, ownership opportunities, resort amenities and the surrounding area within one coherent experience. Actualyse designed and built the site around clear routes to book a stay, explore rental lots and lots for sale, and understand the resort before making a considered decision.

Project Overview

The Motorcoach Resort Lake Erie Shores is a luxury motorcoach resort and leisure real estate destination on the Ohio shoreline, offering lot rentals and ownership opportunities alongside resort amenities and local attractions. Its audience spans Class A and Super C motorcoach travellers planning a stay and buyers considering ownership. The challenge was to give both decisions equal clarity: express the setting and quality of the destination while keeping practical information about lots, amenities, location and next steps easy to find.

Objectives

  • Distinct Journeys: Give rental guests and prospective owners immediate, unambiguous routes through the site.
  • Resort Character: Present the lakeside setting, lots and amenities with the restraint expected of a luxury destination.
  • Decision Support: Organise the map, FAQs, gallery, events and local-area content around the questions visitors need answered.
  • Clear Action: Place routes to booking, rental lots, lots for sale and contact at the relevant points in each journey.

Process

  1. Conceptualisation: Defined the information architecture around booking a stay and exploring ownership.
  2. Design: Created a calm, refined interface with clear hierarchy across rental, ownership, amenity and destination content, placing direct calls to action at decision points.
  3. Development: Built the website and connected its core pages through navigation covering rental lots, ownership opportunities, lots for sale, amenities, the resort map, events and local guides.
  4. Testing & Launch: Tested the rental, ownership, booking and contact journeys, refined content presentation across the site and prepared the build for launch.

Solutions

The homepage establishes Lake Erie Shores as both a place to stay and a place to own. Prominent booking and rental-lot routes serve guests planning a visit, while ownership opportunities and lots for sale give prospective buyers a direct route into the property offering. Guest reviews and amenity content add practical context to both paths.

For trip planning, the site brings together rental lots, the resort map, amenities, gallery, events calendar and FAQs. The Area and Things To Do pages extend that journey beyond the grounds, helping visitors understand the shoreline location and nearby vineyards, beaches, marina, restaurants, shops and attractions before booking.

The ownership journey gives lots for sale a dedicated place in the architecture rather than treating them as an extension of short-stay accommodation. Consistent navigation and contact routes keep the hospitality and property sides of the business connected under one resort experience.
