AfriCap Hub

Brand & Web Platform

In short
AfriCap Hub needed a digital platform equal to the calibre of the leaders, policymakers and industry experts it convenes across Africa. Actualyse shaped the brand and designed and developed a website that turns a varied events portfolio into a clear path from discovery to registration. The engagement had to establish authority from the first screen, organise conferences and specialist programmes around how delegates evaluate them, and give each audience a direct route to consultation or registration.

What did Actualyse do, and what result is published?
Actualyse delivered branding and UX/UI for AfriCap Hub, then designed and developed its website around event discovery, evaluation and registration. Result: AfriCap Hub has a coherent events platform that helps decision-makers find, assess and register for the right programme.

Project Overview

AfriCap Hub is a Johannesburg-based events platform creating Pan-African executive conferences, summits and corporate training for senior leaders, policymakers and industry experts. Its users need to understand the subject, format, location, agenda, speakers and strategic themes before committing, often within formal approval and procurement cycles. The design challenge was to give the organisation a distinctive presence while making a varied portfolio simple to navigate and each next step unmistakable. The build had to bring brand, event detail, consultation and registration into one clear experience.

Objectives

  • Define the brand: Create a confident identity for an Africa-owned events business serving senior decision-makers.
  • Organise the programme: Structure conferences, summits and specialist training so users can browse by category and identify relevant gatherings quickly.
  • Support considered decisions: Present locations, agendas, speakers and strategic themes in a hierarchy that answers the questions behind attendance.
  • Make action clear: Connect discovery, consultation and registration through direct, consistent calls to action.

Process

  1. Conceptualisation: We mapped the journey around the information senior delegates and corporate buyers need before committing, from event type and location to agenda, speakers and strategic themes.
  2. Design: We shaped the brand system and an interface with clear hierarchy for the proposition, event categories, programme detail and next steps.
  3. Development: We built the Home, Events, Blog, Contact and registration experiences, including category filters, event cards and routes into full event details.
  4. Testing & Launch: We tested navigation, filtering, forms and page behaviour, resolved the final interaction details and launched the website.

Solutions

The homepage introduces AfriCap Hub as a Pan-African platform for enterprise leaders, then brings its proposition, track record and routes to consultation into a disciplined narrative. A staged journey explains how visitors move from browsing events to reviewing the detail, registering and speaking with the team. This makes the next step legible for buyers working through internal approval and procurement.

The events catalogue gives the programme a practical browsing structure. Category filters distinguish flagship conferences and summits, specialised training and emerging focus areas, while each card surfaces event type, city and subject before visitors move into agendas, speakers and strategic themes. Direct registration and consultation routes keep action close to the decision, with Blog and Contact pages completing a coherent platform for event discovery, editorial content and enquiry.
